I have known Yvonne for over 20 years. During this time, I was her coworker and administrator. She has a great passion for teaching and excellent classroom management skills. She is patient and understanding with her students, which leads to their trust and respect for her. Not all teachers I have known have this rapport with students. This is what leads to her excellent management skills, which are built out of trust and respect. Yvonne takes the time to get to know her students and truly understands their origins. I feel this is very important, especially when dealing with middle and high school students.
